Gorkha Municipality has started a training for elected representatives as well as ward secretaries in order to enrich them with knowledge about the smooth and proper functioning of local government.

With the joint organization of Daraundi mother's group and Gorkha Municipality Ward Office no.12, a 2 days training regarding women leadership and skill development has taken place at gorkha municipality.

Gorkha Municipality has completed its municipal assembly - first part. On first part, different laws and bylaws were passed by municipal assembly members. The program was terminated for next time until the second part which includes the budgeting part / economic part.
