In order to increase knowledge and skill among the elected representatives, gorkha municipality has set a platform to give training to elected women representatives of every 14 wards in co-ordination with women act organization.

Under the 7 days programme as planned for the celebration of world environment day, today gorkha municipality has planted 100 plants at saraswati school. The main theme of the world environment day 2018 is "Beat plastic pollution. If you cant reuse it, refuse it."

Building Permit Studio, under Nepal Housing Reconstruction Project supported by Indian Government has recently been inagurated here in gorkha municipality.
