Gorkha Municipality organized integrating Recovery, Reconstruction, DRR and CCA into Municipal annual and periodic planning workshop in Gorkha Municipality facilitated by MoFAGA & NRA with UNDP's support.

Gorkha Municipality has celebrated 15th women health volunteers day. The programme was chaired by CAO Krishna Kumari Shrestha and Chief Guest was Mayor Rajan Raj Panta and guest, Deputy mayor, Bina Kumari Shrestha. The women volunteers were awarded for their continuous and even hardship.

Gorkha Municipality has inagurated CCTV, Water Fountain and Free Wifi. The presenties were DCC chief, Mayor, Deputy Mayor and other staffs as well as other journalists. CCTV installation was accomplished in main streets of Gorkha Municipality with total of 39 cameras.
