In order to increase knowledge and skill among the elected representatives, gorkha municipality has successfully completed a programme giving training to elected women representatives of every 14 wards in co-ordination with women act organization. The presidency of the programme was carried out by deputy mayor Bina Kumari Shrestha with mayor Rajan Raj Panta being a chief guest.
